KINDRED AND THE FAMILY SOUL
By Araeia Robinson

If you need some motivation to get you through your school work pick up Kindred and The Family Soul’s sophomore release “In This Life Together” and turn to track #15 “My Time”. The husband and wife duo bring fun, love, life, and struggle into their music. As a former teen recording artist slated to be the competition for Brandy, Aja Graydon is not afraid to speak about her challenges and triumphs growing up in the music business. She began her career in Washington, DC as a student at the Duke Ellington High School for Performing Arts. After a few years in the music business, she was introduced to Fatin Dantzler, a writer working with the Roots crew. You can see for yourself how their story unfolds as you watch their new video “Where Would I Be.” This husband and wife duo recently finished up the VH1 Soul Love & Music Tour. The couple also owns a clothing store, the Kulture Shop, at 5023 Baltimore Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. The store features clothing by new and established African-American Designers. To join the Kindred/Kulture marketing team e-mail your name and telephone number to info@jrmusicexec.com.
